ABOUT US
About Us
ZING International Preschool believes that young children have innate capacities for wonder, awe, and imagination and that Early Childhood is a phase of development that should not be rushed. Our aim is to provide an environment that is inviting and enriching for your child so they can explore what interests them and discover something brand new.
Our work is considered successful when we see the bright and happy faces of children arriving at school every day. Our team strives to create a friendly, safe, and comfortable environment in which your children can feel at home “away from home”.
Principles we live by
Our philosophy is that the Early Childhood years should be filled with experiences for exploration, discovery, and vital developmental growth. This is a time when a child discovers that learning is valuable, exciting, rewarding, and enjoyable. This journey of discovery should also take place in a safe, nurturing environment that supports children in their academic, social, emotional and physical development.
The natural curiosity of each child is promoted, by combining free-choice and teacher-led activities and they are encouraged to explore, take initiative, and persevere in acquiring knowledge and learning new skills.
It is our belief that every child is unique, and we place a high value on every learner. Through a seamless day that balances academics and nurturing, we provide a superior learning experience for our Children. We value the child’s presence, their participation, and their respect in our ZING International Preschool. Inquiry, Discovery, Exploration, and Analysis are our four learning practices.
Vision
Our Vision is to provide a vibrant community where all children feel loved, respected and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Our program is intended to promote positive growth in as many children’s lives as possible. A holistic approach is being adopted to enable each child to develop their social, physical, emotional, and intellectual skills. Despite the individuality of each child the experiences they have during their early years are vital to their overall development as they grow older.
Mission
Our Core Values
Integrated Innovation
We support the development of 21st century skills through our curriculum, our skills and learning outcomes, and all six domains that is listed below. Using the 4 C’s; Critical thinking, Creativity, Communication, and Collaboration, children develop their innovation and problem solving abilities every day through teacher questions and activities!
Language, Literacy, and Communication
Children are active learners, making sense of the world around them through their play. It is influenced by language, how they communicate and how they express themselves. The ZING community provides an environment where children's communicative practices, languages, literacies, and identities are valued and supported.
Numeracy
It is crucial for children to have numeracy skills so that they can solve problems and understand time, numbers, patterns, and shapes. In the long run, ZING kids will develop the ability to critically assess and reflect on quantitative information so that they will feel confident making judgments or taking actions in their daily lives. Providing our children with strong numeracy skills will prepare them for deeper explorations of math concepts as they enter formal school settings.
Development of Cognitive Skills through Play and Exploration
The play and exploration of children serves as a platform for supporting the development of their literacy and numeracy skills, as well as for capitalizing on their natural curiosity and excitement about the world. Early childhood is not only a period of incredible physical growth, but also a time of striking mental development.
Character Development and Relationships
ZING fosters every child's social and emotional development in ways that promote positive relationships with others. Providing a secure and caring learning environment where a child's sense of self is nurtured will naturally lead to opportunities for developing one's character
Development of Physical and Mental Wellness
ZING curriculum also includes an integrated focus on physical activity and wellness development to support strong cognitive and physical growth and promote academic success. The brain research of current times shows that children who are physically active and lead healthy lifestyles can advance more quickly developmentally than children who live sedentary and unhealthy lifestyles.
Multicultural awareness and diversity
ZING aims to create an inclusive environment that celebrates each child's uniqueness. The loving environment provided in this program will help children understand the culture to which they belong, while instilling acceptance and appreciation for the diversity of cultures present in our globalized society. Children will learn to be socially responsible citizens who practice fair and democratic practices and do so in a way that enhances their sense of cultural identity.
Our differences
Our academic ability and the fact that our Children are capable of taking on challenges with vigor and enthusiasm is what we take great pride in. We emphasize self-expression and the importance of confidence in our children. The philosophy we follow when educating children is of utmost importance to us. It provides the foundation for all the activities we do with the children.
We prefer a holistic, structured, teacher-led approach to learning. In an ideal classroom, a careful balance is achieved between teacher-directed and student-initiated tasks, allowing children to learn through exploration and meaningful engagement with their surroundings and their learning environment.
Our Team
A great deal of consideration is given to the qualifications, professionalism, vast experience, and understanding of Early Childhood Education of the staff members. We regularly organize training sessions for our staff so they can broaden and deepen their knowledge of early childhood education. Furthermore, all staff receive first aid training tailored to the specific needs of caregivers of young children, including CPR instruction
